Can I upload documents on candidate behalf?

Yes, you can upload documents on a candidate’s behalf. This feature is particularly useful when candidates experience difficulties uploading files themselves or when they have already provided physical documents directly to you.

By default, this option may be disabled to encourage candidate self-service. Before uploading documents for candidates, you must first enable the setting in your Veremark dashboard.

Enable Candidate Document Uploads

To enable this feature:

  1. Log in to your Veremark account.
  2. Select the Settings icon in the top-right corner of your dashboard.
  3. Navigate to the Check settings tab.
  4. Find the option “Upload documents and information on the candidate’s behalf” and switch it on.

Upload Documents for a Candidate

Once enabled, you can upload documents directly to an active candidate check:

  1. Go to the Requests tab in your dashboard.
  2. Select the candidate request you want to update.
  3. Click the Actions menu (three dots) and select Upload documents from the dropdown menu.
  4. Choose the required documents from your computer (for example, ID documents, academic certificates, or transcripts).
  5. Click Submit to attach the documents to the candidate’s active checks.

This feature helps ensure checks can continue smoothly while providing additional support to candidates when needed.

Note: If the order is in the Requested stage, uploading documents on the candidate’s behalf will not complete the process. The candidate will still need to access their candidate link, complete the remaining sections of the form, and submit it for the request to proceed.
