How to use the Imposter check feature for UK Right to Work checks

To support our client's compliance responsibilities with UK Right to Work (RTW) checks, we have introduced an Imposter Check feature.

🔍 Why is this important?

1️⃣ Simple Compliance: Assists employers in fulfilling their legal obligations by documenting proof of imposter checks, which is essential for being audit-ready. 🗂️

2️⃣ Fraud Mitigation: Reduces risks, particularly in industries with high employee turnover, such as the gig economy. 🚩

3️⃣ Efficient Administration: Integrates all necessary checks into a single platform, positioning Veremark as your comprehensive solution for Right to Work compliance.

💡 How it Works

  • A dedicated Imposter Check section will be integrated within the UK Right to Work (RTW) checks.
  • Employers can easily confirm completion by selecting the option "An imposter check has been performed." This section also includes a text field to input the name of the individual who conducted the check.
  • Additionally, the system will automatically log the date and the identity of the user, facilitating straightforward audit tracking.
  • While this step is optional, a helpful tooltip will provide guidance, stating: "To fully complete a UK Right to Work check, the employer must perform an 'imposter check' to verify that the individual commencing employment is indeed the same person who conducted the RTW checks."

🚀 The Benefits

  • Makes audits smoother and hassle-free ✅.
  • Encourages proper onboarding processes 📋.
  • Enhances client experience by reducing reliance on external tools 🛠️.

This feature aligns with our goal of providing seamless, compliance-focused solutions. Let us know if you have any feedback! 🎉
