Is there a minimum number of checks required per month?

There is no monthly minimum required.

For pay-as-you-go accounts, the only requirement is that your account has sufficient available credits to pay for the background checks ordered.

For accounts configured for monthly invoicing, all orders completed in a calendar month will be invoiced at the beginning of the following month.
